The mission of Dress for Success Houston is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
Since 1998, Dress for Success Houston has provided business attire, a much-needed boost of confidence, and job retention and career advancement services to more than 37,000 women in the Houston community. In 2017, Dress for Success Houston will add more than 3,500 women to its growing number of success stories. An independent 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the state of Texas, Dress for Success Houston is part of a worldwide network of 150 affiliates.

Chevron Send One Suit (S.O.S) Month
S.O.S. - Send One Suit - is a month of corporate suit drives and fundraisers to support the mission of Dress for Success Houston, with title sponsorship from Chevron. Bag Romance, in suppport of S.O.S. Month, is conducting an online professional attire drive.
The professional attire donations DFSH receives during S.O.S. Month, help sustain their clients throughout the year. They request all donations be clean and on hangers, allowing their clients to leave their agency interview ready!

Suits (sizes 0-4 and 14-30)
Closed-toe shoes (sizes 7 to 13)

Hosiery (especially plus sizes)

Dress for Success Houston accepts all interview-appropriate attire, including:
Suits: skirt or pant (conservative and updated)
Blouses: business appropriate
Shells
Shoes: dress, dark colors (black, brown, navy, taupe)
Handbags: conservative colors
Skirts and Pants: solid, dark colors
Jackets: professional
Scarves
Pantyhose: new and unopened (only in black, coffee, nude; no
white or bold colors)
Dresses: work-appropriate (no formal or evening wear)
